About GCGS
The Graduate Conference in Germanic Studies (GCGS) is a student-led conference that aims at providing an inclusive platform for scholars at all stages of their academic careers to share their research, exchange ideas, and network with fellow academics. The conference is designed to create a supportive environment for graduate students to participate in a peer conference that encourages intellectual exchange and collaboration among emerging and established scholars alike. This year’s conference will take place on April 19th, 2026 on the UT Austin campus.
